Armoured Vehicles Nigam (AVNL), a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has authorised Dynatron as its channel partner to support the export of defence products across key international markets.
Under the two-year mandate, Dynatron will represent AVNL’s portfolio in regions including Africa, the Gulf, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. The partnership will focus on engaging potential customers, including defence forces, and facilitating market development for indigenously developed platforms.
Headquartered in Avadi, AVNL manufactures a range of armoured fighting vehicles and combat mobility systems for the Indian Armed Forces. Its portfolio includes main battle tanks, infantry combat vehicles, bridge-laying systems and specialised military vehicles, along with engines and critical assemblies. The company is also known for indigenous platforms such as the Arjun main battle tank and the BMP-2 ‘Sarath’.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening India’s defence export ecosystem by combining public sector manufacturing capabilities with private sector execution. Dynatron is expected to support structured engagement in emerging markets that are modernising their defence capabilities and exploring diversified procurement sources.
The partnership also aligns with the government’s broader push for self-reliance in defence production and increased global outreach under the “Make in India” and “Make for the World” initiatives, according to the company’s statement.
Dynatron, part of Crown Defence, has over four decades of experience in defence maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), with operations spanning marine, aerospace and land systems.
